Our journey first takes us to the town of Mont Ventoux where we visit a majestic luxury hotel.
Chateau de Mazan – Mont Ventoux
What could be more atmospheric and typically French than staying in an authentic chateau, the Chateau de Mazan has 30 grand rooms together with some luxurious suites, each has elegant design and are most comfortable. The hotel nestles up close to the foot of the famous Mont Ventoux in the charming village of Mazan which is in the very heart of Provence. The chateau was built in the 18th Century and oozes elegance, with its own landscaped gardens that have their own rotunda where guests can take a rest under the mulberry trees and the garden’s very own olive tree that is one hundred years old.

The Coquillade Village is five-star luxury all the way, situated in the heart of Luberon’s wine country connoisseurs of wine will love this hotel. Domaine de Fontenille – Lourmarin
The Domaine de Fontenille excels at the art of living, it has been a wine estate for almost four hundred years and it houses a superb gourmet restaurant, a wellness space, art gallery and a fitness center. The restaurant and the hotel’s bistro are managed by a Michelin-starred chef who offers dishes that are spontaneous depending on what produce is gathered from the land, and is very much a seasonal cuisine. There is a large 20 meter outdoor swimming pool and the whole estate is situated in the Luberon Regional Park.
Domaine de Fontenille is a grand French country manor, it’s classical architecture has been retained almost as new. The interior is decadent reflecting the gentile past the manor once had, and as far as the eye can see is unspoiled countryside and vineyards.
The park that surrounds this grand old hotel is made up of several different gardens, that are perfect for an after-dinner stroll or just relaxing with a good book. If you are more of the active type then there is a jogging trail that goes through the vineyards.
